EK Castings - Trumpeter of the Hussar Regiment. Italy, 1848
 
On the trumpeter a red shako with a black bottom and two peaks (rear vertical). The cockade is red with a white buttonhole and button. Chin strap black, white metal buttons. On the top of the shako is a red and white galloon (a red ribbon with a white edging intersecting X-shaped at short intervals). The sultan of black horsehair with a white clutch is inserted in a white pompon. The cord is variegated white and red. Doloman blue with the same collar and red cuffs. Cords and braid are red and white. Buttons made of white metal. On the sleeves are the corporal stripe. Mentik blue with black fur and crochet as on the dolomane. Belt-kushak red with white gimbals and white cords with brushes. Pants are red with a blue piping and a double white lamp. A copper pipe with white-red cords and brushes. Belts are white, the pad is black. On a black wheelbarrow a copper plate in the form of a shield.
