Army of the Duchy of Warsaw.
Formed in 1806 in the Dobrcu Kalisz . At the end of 1,809 years counted regiment of 2,673 soldiers. According to part time from 1810, the regiment consisted of 27 personal staff and three infantry battalions of 6 companies. Bars battalions count had 4 people and companies of 136 soldiers. In total, the regiment should serve 2,487 soldiers. Actually staffing division was slightly lower.
According to the decree of Napoleon of May 17, 1811, in the Duchy of Warsaw was created three divisions. Regiment was incorporated into 2 of Division.
In preparation for the invasion of Russia 1812 years regiment was incorporated into the structure 17 Jana Henryka Dabrowski Division of V Corps of the Grand Army of Fr. Poniatowski.
After the abdication of Napoleon , Tsar Alexander I 's permission to send Polish troops to the country. They were a basis for the creation of the Polish Army under the command of the Grand Duke Constantine . June 13, 1814 year regiment designated place concentration in Siedlce.
